Default FXST Front Forks

The front forks of my 2002 Softail Standard seem to be a bit soft. I think they bottom out too easily when hitting a hole or bump in the road. I am pretty sure the right amount of oil is in place in the forks. My question for you all is this - are there stiffer springs or maybe a heavier oil available?
