clutch c-clips
I replaced the clutch basket because of cracking in the base, and everthing is running fine, then later I read in the manual that the C-clip has to have the beveled side away from the bearing. I didn't notice a bevel, don't know how I put it in, and have had no problems, but am concerned. Do I rip it apart again? Does anyone know about this?

Shoot Joe, I just had mine open, and put mine back and didn't notice it either. Mine's running fine...I'm not really intested in going back in there unless I'm going to upgrade something...

I would think for peace of mind you would check it. I don't know if the bevel edge/no bevel could cause a problem. If you know a good wrench, I would ask their opinion, if this would be a concern or not.
