sundowner and sissy bar?

i just picked a sunwowner seat for my 06 1200c, i put it on and then tried to put my detacahable sissy bar back on. it dont fit, the seat hits the side plates. anyone else had this problem, im thinking of returning the seat and buying a rallyrunner instead.

I don't have detachables plates but the seat just barely touches them. Makes it worth it for my butt though.

mine hits aswell once the sissy bar is in place it just barely hits

Detachable on my 1200R with no problems.... Really makes it nice for travel. When you stop for the night just pop the 2 locking pins and all my luggage and bags come inside without having to take them off 1 at a time and then hook everything back up to the sissybar and rack...
