Post here to get a plan set up to get it to everyone who wants it in the NorthWest. Greybeardrider 08-31-2006, 10:57 PM I'll be waiting here in Bellingham ,Wa.....if it makes it up this far. I know there several members in the Seattle area too! 98kingflh 09-05-2006, 01:25 PM I'm in the Tacoma area and would be proud to pick up the Mascot and ride it where it needs to go within a couple hours of my location! I’m open from Olympia to Seattle..Hey Greybeard, I guess we need to meet somewhere and pass it from one to the other! And a cup of Coffee, Semper Fi!!!! HogBoy 09-05-2006, 07:35 PM I live in Olympia, which is south of you guys. Give me a holler. Hey, kingfin, Let me know if you hear it's coming your way. We could probably meet in Seattle, or Everett,..somewhere. I hope we can have early notice, as my wife has become very ill, and I'll need to know ASAP so I can make arrangements if needed. I need to see who could take the hand-off from me if it gets to this point. Anybody out there in NW Washington, or Canada, wanting to participate? Let us know! AK_Hog_Herder 09-27-2006, 05:05 PM Well, I am just about as far northwest as you can get so who's bringing it to BC so it can work its way to Alaska? Rhubarb 09-27-2006, 06:51 PM Hey, Northwest... not Pacific NorthWest. :D Greybeardrider 10-19-2006, 08:38 PM ORIGINAL: Rhubarb Hey, Northwest... not Pacific NorthWest. :D Which Northwest would you be referring to then?.....Alaska,......The Yukon? If someone gets it to Whitehorse in the Yukon I can pick it up there for a run around Alaska. Or better yet, the Alaska state HOG rally is June 16th in Fairbanks this year. Someone could bring it there. :D badherb 01-10-2007, 06:52 PM I'll get it to Seattle area from Yakima or even Spokane but not until the snow and ice clear for good in the central part of Washington and the mountain area of I-90, count me in as wanting to getthe mascot to wereever. grooveman 01-16-2007, 01:24 AM Montana here. If it ever comes this way I'm in.. R_Einan 03-27-2007, 12:54 PM Tri-Cities here, I'm in as long as I can get enough warning (work). I'd run it most anywhere within 400 miles of me. RE Anniesage 03-30-2007, 12:38 AM Hey all - It's Annie here. I haven't posted alot in the last year - life got in the way of riding. But, my ride radius would be - I can pick itup as far south as Tacoma and bring it as far north as Bellingham; and I could go as far east as like Moses Lake (as long as there is no snow in the passes). Just let me know the whens and wheres and I will be ready to escort that Mascot whereever it may need to go. Punkpogoer 04-05-2007, 04:35 PM I live in Marysville, which is just north of Everett. I can go just about anywhere in Western Washington given some notice. wldbill 05-07-2007, 09:52 PM Bellingham wants some of that action, too. jefkat2 05-08-2007, 02:27 AM Whidbey Island here and can take care of Mt Vernon and Burlington and a few south. http://i159.photobucket.com/albums/t127/jefkat2/flhtc_3.jpg 2007 FLHTC FreedmRider 05-10-2007, 06:23 PM No reason to send it so far north that it gets stuck up there...:D Once in gets to the North West let's get it moving south down the coast. Plenty of people along the way to get it all the way down to southern California. Road Warrior 05-11-2007, 01:22 AM Another one from Montana. BiggestDawg 05-31-2007, 06:53 PM Battle Ground WA is NW of Vancouver USA. That's SW WA waiting to hear and see it. I'll be glad to help move it along. Let me know. shawn e. 10-21-2007, 05:50 PM I live on Interstate 5 in Oregon about 130 miles north of California. ecvjohn 10-21-2007, 06:20 PM If/when I can get it ...... It looks like you will be the next in line, I'm south of Sacramento and could get it to or near the boarder. shawn e. 10-21-2007, 10:02 PM If you can get it to the border or near I can get it to Eugene Or. Or further. Shawn BiggestDawg 12-04-2007, 10:23 AM So now what? The weather is bad! Is it still possible to get the mascot up here? JonnyD 01-17-2008, 11:12 AM Woodland, WA here................ Hey BigDawg were a stones throw from each other! Bluerose 01-18-2008, 06:59 PM The real question is who can come down a bit to meet the southerners? The Mascot is at Vandenberg. I've been offering to move it at least 200 - 300 miles from me (though I'd have to go north to get it 140 miles) and no bites [>:] whodman6 01-19-2008, 10:50 PM I can also hook up with the Vandenburg connection and start it going north. I'm in Central California... willing to help. Just let me know, the weather here is not too cold, now would be a good time. http://i249.photobucket.com/albums/gg223/whodman6/HarleyWebPhoto.jpg BiggestDawg 01-21-2008, 08:00 PM If I had the time I would ride all the way down to get it. Unfortunatly I don't get paid vacation time so I can't. The other issue is the weather up here right now. The high today was in the mid 30's and it is going to be colder in the next few days. I haven't checked the Siskyou pass lately but I imagine that it is still going to be a cold area for a while. Hopefully around March we can find a way to get the mascot up into the NW. BiggestDawg 02-18-2008, 01:53 AM All right time to wake up you guys. I am trying to see if I can get someone to get the mascot moved up to Redding CA. I am willing to make the run and get the mascot moved up here now that the weather is starting to improve. If anyone is interested in making the run with me then post up. As soon as I can get some dates nailed down I will let everyone know. shawn e. 02-18-2008, 08:38 AM I am still up for a northern California run! But next weekend is out for me. BiggestDawg, I can possibly cut your trip in half unless you want to ride all the way to Redding. Shawn BiggestDawg 02-18-2008, 11:21 AM The first thing we need to do is get the mascot moving in the right direction. I honestly expect to do this in March or April. If we can make it earlier that is fine by me. I will let you know about whether I will run to Redding or not. My Aunt is elderly and time is getting short. I would like to check on her. I know it is ~900 miles round trip and it won't give me nuch time. I am still considering it. What is your plan? Where can you pick up the mascot from and where would you want to meet? DZLDR 02-20-2008, 01:46 AM Olympia / Lacey area here. Let me know if I can help. xwizard44 02-23-2008, 05:29 PM I live in Kelso,WA. let me know if I can help CndUltra95 02-24-2008, 06:41 PM Vancouver Canada here, can ride to North Seattle given enough lead time.... Robert shawn e. 02-25-2008, 07:37 PM I live where the red pin is I could pick up in Redding and deliver to Salem or so! http://maps.ask.com/maps?ml=lt%3D42.00033%7Clg%3D-125.09033%7Cal%3D0%7Ccx%3D-5693%7Ccy%3D-2110%7Czm%3D13%7Cvt%3D0~lt%3D43.39057%7Clg%3D-123.31069%7Cad%3DSutherlin%2C%20OR%7Csd%3D0%7Cdm%3 D0~#3 BiggestDawg 02-25-2008, 10:53 PM I can make a run for Eugene that way you aren't doing all the miles. I think that would make it a reasonable run for both of us. shawn e. 02-26-2008, 07:54 AM Sounds good to me! BiggestDawg 02-26-2008, 10:05 AM Cool! Now all we have to do is see if we can get the mascot moving north! mfuchs2004 02-27-2008, 04:30 PM I can pick it up from Eugene and take it North to Portland/Vancouver! BiggestDawg 02-27-2008, 08:20 PM ORIGINAL: mfuchs2004 I can pick it up from Eugene and take it North to Portland/Vancouver! It will be nice to have someone to ride with! Now all we gotta do is the it moving. So far all I'm hearing is a big nothing [:@] Jaybob07 02-28-2008, 11:39 AM Hey BDawg, I'm out in Lemoore. I would not have a problem rideing north with it solo or with whoever makes the run. wldbill 02-28-2008, 08:34 PM Hey Jaybob, Are you going to move it out of P. Robles? That would be a good start. BiggestDawg 02-28-2008, 10:11 PM I have emailed Tuffsporty to see about getting a meet up with him and Jaybob07. Then I have heard from Homee, he is in the Bay area, He is willing to move it up to Redding. So after Jaybob07 get the mascot then we can focus on getting it to Homee and then Shawn e can get it from Redding to Eugene and I can get it from Eugene up to my place. We need to start making some plans to move it up into the Seattle area. I am hoping that by June we can get it moving back across to the east. I am hoping that the move up into the NW will be able to take place in March. I do expect to try and get a meet and greet happening when I have it here in The Vancouver/Portland area. As soon as I have a better idea of the timeline I will work to set that up. I will let you all know when I have more information. Jaybob07 02-28-2008, 10:18 PM I was hopeing that there would be someone else that would not mind taking the ride up north but if I have to take it up solo I will, just me and my wife, if she's up for the ride. Is there anyone else in the central valley that would not mind that run? BiggestDawg 02-29-2008, 09:22 AM There is another, tcp, lives in San Jose that has offered to ride down to pick it up from Paso Robles. Right now the hard part has been making contact with TuffSporty to get things arranged. I will let you know if it is necessary to have you make the run. I know that the ride between Lemoore and Paso Robles is a fun one especially when you get into the coast range. Just take 41 south and 46 west. 41 is dry and flat but 46 is in the hills and has a few twisties to it. Any way I will post more as I learn it. tcp 02-29-2008, 08:18 PM I'll make time to do part of the trip, whatever it takes. Weekends are best of course. tpansarasa@comcast.net sounds like you have lot's of offers to help, let me know if I can fit in from San Jose... So far you appear to be the best at this time for getting the mascot up to the bay area. I still have not heard from TuffSporty so that we can get things lined up. Once I do I would prefer to get you and TuffSporty in touch with each other to work out the details. After you get it up to your place maybe you can work out a meet and greet for our Bay area brothers. Then hand off to Homee to run it to Redding for a hand off there. Once I hear from TuffSporty we can get things lined up better. I have been looking into a place for a meet and greet here in the Vancouver/Portland area and have a line on a place. I just need to get the mascot moving again so that I can nail down some dates. imboden 03-01-2008, 02:52 AM Hey I live on camano island wa, I'd like to sign the thing when it gets up here. looks like lots of folks around me here, lets figure somethin out. Jaybob07 03-01-2008, 10:49 AM Well no matter if someone comes down to Paso to get the mascot, I would still like to make the run. Wife keeps telling me we need to go for a ride so that would be some great time for us just to ride. That and to meet some of the guys on the boards in person. She is still wanting to head up to Sac for lunch and then come home. BiggestDawg 03-02-2008, 11:08 PM I will keep everyone posted. I am still trying to get ahold of TuffSporty to get things moving. Biggzed 03-03-2008, 01:13 AM I'm just outside Portland (Sherwood) and would really like to see a Portland/SW Wa. meet and greet. Count me in. rjmac53 03-03-2008, 07:22 AM Hey from Nawlins!!! OOPS, got it backwards. I'm southeast stater !!!! marthared 03-03-2008, 03:16 PM I'm in Lakewood, just south of Tacoma, and commute to Seattle during the week. Let me know if I can do anything. If I can help after that, I am open for it Homee 03-05-2008, 11:03 PM Still hangin around reading what's up. Anything from Jaybob07? Weather is getting better and that itch to help is still there. BiggestDawg 03-06-2008, 03:28 PM I'm still trying to get a hold of TuffSporty to get things lined up. So far he has not responded to my emails or PM's. Jaybob07 03-06-2008, 09:40 PM Like you Homee I'm just waiting to see when thisrun is going to get started. Fromthe looks ofit its still up in the air. BiggestDawg 03-07-2008, 09:03 AM I'm not sure what it's going to take. I have been waiting to hear back from TuffSporty. I see that he was last on the forum on 3/5 but he has not responded to my PM's and I have sent him a couple along with emails and still nothing. I am getting frustrated with this but I am still trying to get ahold of him. I welcome everyones help in trying to reach him to get the movment of the mascot going again. I PM'd Grover about this and hope that he can help too. OdiousBarbarian 03-08-2008, 12:14 AM When it gets going, send me a PM. I'd be up for just tagging along for part of the ride when it moves through the Bay Area. TuffSporty 03-08-2008, 12:21 AM Sorry guys, I was unable to keep tabs on the forum for a bit, but am back. I've posted on all the recent threads wondering where I was, and PM'd everyone who PM'd me, so hopefully we're all on the same page again. Jaybobo7, Grover (Richard) is in the Bakersfield area. I told him I'd be able to meet either you or him to get the mascot headed to the central valley, for its eventual journey north. Between us we should be able to figure something out. I'm open to any ideas. Tim gopher 03-09-2008, 11:01 PM If the mascot makes it through the Boise area, I can guarantee passage across most of southern Idaho. If it is in the panhandle, then I am out. Just let me know. I have a very flexible job schedule that takes me all over most of Idaho. BiggestDawg 03-11-2008, 12:16 AM I'm hoping that by June the mascot will be heading that way but I have no way of being 100% sure at this time. It depends on when we get it into the PNW and how well it is moved around. I have been doing my best to keep on it just barely short of being royal pita about it. Grover, TuffSporty, Jaybob07 how is it coming? Have you worked out a schedule and have you set something up for a hand off somewhere in the Bay/Sac area? I want to see this moving sooner than later. greg09997 03-11-2008, 12:34 AM add me to the list as well. Jaybob07 03-11-2008, 08:12 PM I have emailed TS and Grover about when we can get together but have not heared anything back from them as of yet. As soon as I do then I'll contact you and post an update as to when we are heading up there. Is there anyone else in the Central Valley, that would like to make the run up to Sac? If so post something up and PM me. Teek BiggestDawg 03-18-2008, 09:06 AM Good news Jaybob07 now has the mascot. He is hoping to be in the Sac area this Saturday to do a hand off. Homee as offered to run to Redding with it and so has OdiousBarbarian. I need to know when it will be to Redding. Shawn e. has said that he can get it from Redding to Eugene and I plan on meeting him in Eugene. I will go all the way to Redding if I have to. Check out the mascot forum to get the latest.
