I still think I should have taken it and ran when you guys left me alone with it. :D:D:D:D But the problem is getting it back to civilization.

If someone gets it to Whitehorse in the Yukon I can pick it up there for a run around Alaska. Or better yet, the Alaska state HOG rally is June 16th in Fairbanks this year. Someone could bring it there. :D

I'll get it to Seattle area from Yakima or even Spokane but not until the snow and ice clear for good in the central part of Washington and the mountain area of I-90, count me in as wanting to getthe mascot to wereever.

Hey all - It's Annie here.

I haven't posted alot in the last year - life got in the way of riding.
But, my ride radius would be - I can pick itup as far south as Tacoma and bring it as far north as Bellingham; and I could go as far east as like Moses Lake (as long as there is no snow in the passes). Just let me know the whens and wheres and I will be ready to escort that Mascot whereever it may need to go.

I live in Marysville, which is just north of Everett. I can go just about anywhere in Western Washington given some notice.

Bellingham wants some of that action, too.

Whidbey Island here and can take care of Mt Vernon and Burlington and a few south.

Once in gets to the North West let's get it moving south down the coast. Plenty of people along the way to get it all the way down to southern California.

If/when I can get it ...... It looks like you will be the next in line, I'm south of Sacramento and could get it to or near the boarder.

The real question is who can come down a bit to meet the southerners? The Mascot is at Vandenberg. I've been offering to move it at least 200 - 300 miles from me (though I'd have to go north to get it 140 miles) and no bites [>:]

I can also hook up with the Vandenburg connection and start it going north. I'm in Central California... willing to help. Just let me know, the weather here is not too cold, now would be a good time.

If I had the time I would ride all the way down to get it. Unfortunatly I don't get paid vacation time so I can't. The other issue is the weather up here right now. The high today was in the mid 30's and it is going to be colder in the next few days. I haven't checked the Siskyou pass lately but I imagine that it is still going to be a cold area for a while. Hopefully around March we can find a way to get the mascot up into the NW.

All right time to wake up you guys. I am trying to see if I can get someone to get the mascot moved up to Redding CA. I am willing to make the run and get the mascot moved up here now that the weather is starting to improve. If anyone is interested in making the run with me then post up. As soon as I can get some dates nailed down I will let everyone know.

I am still up for a northern California run! But next weekend is out for me. BiggestDawg, I can possibly cut your trip in half unless you want to ride all the way to Redding.

The first thing we need to do is get the mascot moving in the right direction. I honestly expect to do this in March or April. If we can make it earlier that is fine by me. I will let you know about whether I will run to Redding or not. My Aunt is elderly and time is getting short. I would like to check on her. I know it is ~900 miles round trip and it won't give me nuch time. I am still considering it. What is your plan? Where can you pick up the mascot from and where would you want to meet?

I can make a run for Eugene that way you aren't doing all the miles. I think that would make it a reasonable run for both of us.

I have emailed Tuffsporty to see about getting a meet up with him and Jaybob07. Then I have heard from Homee, he is in the Bay area, He is willing to move it up to Redding. So after Jaybob07 get the mascot then we can focus on getting it to Homee and then Shawn e can get it from Redding to Eugene and I can get it from Eugene up to my place. We need to start making some plans to move it up into the Seattle area. I am hoping that by June we can get it moving back across to the east. I am hoping that the move up into the NW will be able to take place in March. I do expect to try and get a meet and greet happening when I have it here in The Vancouver/Portland area. As soon as I have a better idea of the timeline I will work to set that up. I will let you all know when I have more information.

I was hopeing that there would be someone else that would not mind taking the ride up north but if I have to take it up solo I will, just me and my wife, if she's up for the ride. Is there anyone else in the central valley that would not mind that run?

There is another, tcp, lives in San Jose that has offered to ride down to pick it up from Paso Robles. Right now the hard part has been making contact with TuffSporty to get things arranged. I will let you know if it is necessary to have you make the run. I know that the ride between Lemoore and Paso Robles is a fun one especially when you get into the coast range. Just take 41 south and 46 west. 41 is dry and flat but 46 is in the hills and has a few twisties to it. Any way I will post more as I learn it.

I'll make time to do part of the trip, whatever it takes. Weekends are best of course.

So far you appear to be the best at this time for getting the mascot up to the bay area. I still have not heard from TuffSporty so that we can get things lined up. Once I do I would prefer to get you and TuffSporty in touch with each other to work out the details. After you get it up to your place maybe you can work out a meet and greet for our Bay area brothers. Then hand off to Homee to run it to Redding for a hand off there. Once I hear from TuffSporty we can get things lined up better. I have been looking into a place for a meet and greet here in the Vancouver/Portland area and have a line on a place. I just need to get the mascot moving again so that I can nail down some dates.

I am getting frustrated with this but I am still trying to get ahold of him. I welcome everyones help in trying to reach him to get the movment of the mascot going again. I PM'd Grover about this and hope that he can help too.

I was unable to keep tabs on the forum for a bit, but am back. I've posted on all the recent threads wondering where I was, and PM'd everyone who PM'd me, so hopefully we're all on the same page again. Jaybobo7, Grover (Richard) is in the Bakersfield area. I told him I'd be able to meet either you or him to get the mascot headed to the central valley, for its eventual journey north. Between us we should be able to figure something out. I'm open to any ideas.

If the mascot makes it through the Boise area, I can guarantee passage across most of southern Idaho. If it is in the panhandle, then I am out. Just let me know. I have a very flexible job schedule that takes me all over most of Idaho.

I'm hoping that by June the mascot will be heading that way but I have no way of being 100% sure at this time. It depends on when we get it into the PNW and how well it is moved around. I have been doing my best to keep on it just barely short of being royal pita about it.

Grover, TuffSporty, Jaybob07 how is it coming? Have you worked out a schedule and have you set something up for a hand off somewhere in the Bay/Sac area? I want to see this moving sooner than later.

Good news Jaybob07 now has the mascot. He is hoping to be in the Sac area this Saturday to do a hand off. Homee as offered to run to Redding with it and so has OdiousBarbarian. I need to know when it will be to Redding. Shawn e. has said that he can get it from Redding to Eugene and I plan on meeting him in Eugene. I will go all the way to Redding if I have to. Check out the mascot forum to get the latest. If anyome is interested in riding with me to Eugene for a hand off post up or PM me. I don't have firm dates yet but am hoping that it will be by April 5th. More to follow keep your eyes here in the mascot forum.

I have all of next week off and every weekend is open for me so if the weather gods are nice things shoud run smooth! :D
