Reshape it and add memory foam. I just did another this past weekend for a local guy who rode in.  I took a couple pictures and will try to get them posted tomorrow.

You would probably be happy with a little reshaping to dispearse your wieght more evenly and I can move you back some.

Yes the cover should be no problem putting back on and thanks for the picture for a better look.  Turn around time is running 2-3 weeks right now.

I have an idea for you,(I will be expecting some royalties for this), design a clear heat deflector that bolts to the bottom of the seat to steer all that heat away from the right thigh. You would sell a bunch of um. Dave...P.S. maybe made from plexy- glass?

No problem man...sorry it took a while to reply.  We were gone to Myrtle Beach for bike week and I got a little behind on emails, PM's and phone calls but I think I have all that stuff caught up now so tomorrow its back to the normal grind of modding seats all day long

I have an 07 FXSTC.  I am 6'1" tall and 240.  I would like to move about 2-3" back and lower.  It looks to me, from reading other posts, that you can do almost anything with a stock seat.  Could you give me an idea what you could do to help?  Thanks, and it looks like you have a VERY loyal following.

Allen,

The seat you did for me is very comfortable. Rode 250 miles to Austin, TX for the ROT rally. Still haven't gotten the seat recovered yet.

Thanks for a well done job.

Great having you stop by Mike and I am glad the memory foam addition worked so good.  Enjoy and be safe and if you ever back on the right coast stop by and see me again.

Allen you ROCK!

I had to try out my seat the day it arrived, even though my shoulder wasn't ready.  Still waiting for shoulder to finish healing.  Getting better!  Can't wait to give her a good run!

Still go out and just sit on her and feel a happy hiney!  Brought me down into the bike and forward like I wanted to be.

Thanks!!!

Puddles

Mitch, I think I can help.  I can move you back some but I wouldn't wont to lower you too much, a inch tops.  Email me or call and we can go from there.  allen@meancitycycles.com 1-866-550-SEAT

BadX I am really going back and forth between sending you my stock Deluxe Seat or just biting the bullet and buying a mustang. I imagine you get really busy when the weather starts getting crappy huh?  Ideally If I could find a loaner seat I would send you mine now.

We are pretty busy year round.  Right now things are slowing a little but not enough to get the turn around under 2 weeks yet.  The Deluxe seat mods out great, you could either get one from someone who dropped the big $$$ on a after market seat or try ebay then turn around and sell it...just a thought

Hi, BadX,
I just took delivery of a 2007 Deluxe.  The write up on its says 24"5 inch seat but that must be with a 200 lb person on it.  I am five foot 115lbs and I'm on my tippy toes. Ight now I ride a Ridley LE 2005 and with the low slung seat and the pipes tucked under I'm flat footed!!  I'm scared of my new bike. It's much heavier and a beautiful cobalt blue and white but haven't ridden it. I need to have it lowered and either put a "Reach" seat or modify this stock seat.  The stock seat is really nice looking, but how do you narrow it without loosing the comfort?  Can you also modify it to push me forward , narrow the thigh area ,and build a little back rest into it?  Can you give me an idea what it would cost with and without a gel insert?  I may need to send it to you soon or I'll never get to ride it!!  Thanks for all your help!!  Maria

Hi BadX,I ride a 06 RKC and presently have a mustang solo seat w/rider backrest. My old lady has been showing interest in riding w/me(as passenger) So I went out and bought a HD rider backrest and detachable sissybar and slapped on the original RKC stock seat (instead of spending big coin on a new two up seat that will only be used once and a while) The seat pretty much sucks.I felt to pushed forward. Can you modify this seat so I can sit further back and lower while using the rider backrest and giving the old lady room? Also can her seat be "fluffed up" for better comfort?  If you can,how much and what next.I'm 6',225lbs.Thanks for your time,Jim

BadX,
I've had my 07 Heritage Softail Classic a week and after getting through the dreaded break in period, I decided that I am in need of either a new seat or reconstruction of the current one.  I am a VTX convert and after being a member of VTXOA for over 2 years and hearing nothing but great comments about your work --- I am ready to give you some business modding my new ride's seat.  I am 6'2" 270ish w/ a 33" inseam.  I would like to be moved back in the seat a little but am happy with the current seat height.  Can you help me out?  What is the possibility of getting a time scheduled, where I can ensure that the seat arrives to you by a desired time so that the work could be accomplished ASAP after arrival to minimize downtime?  Additionally, are you modding passenger pinions yet?
