Hey JWfrank, fix your post so we don't have to sidescroll please?? You can fix it to be like this ,Click here By taking the line below, and in place of the { } Use brackets [ ] {url=http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/S-S-Oval-Muffler-pipes-for-Harley-Davidson-Roadking-FLH_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ35573QQihZ016QQitemZ260139042392QQrdZ1}Ebay Link{/url} On edit, I wonder why the forums insert link software does not let you do that automaticly. Other forums I frequent, to insert a link, it says copy hyper link here,,,, like this one, THEN when you click OK, it comes up with another window to insert text into, Like "Click here" or "Ebay Link",, then when you click on the one or two words you put in the text,, it takes you to that link, like above.

Anyone with the Fat Cat Quiet Baffle? I see the one post but it is half in and half out of a garage. Would be better if it was outside like we ride em. How about a Supertrapp Supermeg with the closed end cap and with the semi-open end cap?

Gmoney, thanks for a place to put these videos. I actually used this post to help me decide. Rideon, your vid sold me, but I ended up getting the Rinehart slip ons. I posted the "after" vid in my new member post, but I figure I'll put both here. Enjoy. I definitely enjoyed everyone else's. BTW, I'm getting the SE ac and download this Saturday. Before (stock pipes): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cNCFy2ZNfdU After (Rinehart slip ons ... more to come): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b9BKR3giulw

I just listened to all the videos, and now I have a noob question, so please forgive my ignorance. Why is it that some of the bikes idle faster than others? Some just lope along like there ready to die(I love this sound by the way), and some sound like there idling around 12 or 1500 rpms. Is it because some were warmed up, and some were started cold and on a fast idle?

From one noob to another, I'm by no means an expert, as I'm brand new to the world of Harleys and, to tell you the truth, motorcycles altogether. But, from what I've read in some of the bike mags, the differences lie in the types of engines, from the Shovelheads and Panheads a few years back to the Evos to the TC's in the bikes now. Also, the 96" was stroked to achieve the bump in displacement. So, the motor has to run a little faster to compensate for the extra distance. I'm sure one of the veterans could either confirm this or let me know I'm just blowing smoke.

Here is my sound clip of my 00 TC88 Softail Standard with Vance & Hines Long Shots. I really like the way they sound, and at idle when the vid first starts, it is pretty accurate. But when I reved it the camera must lower the volume,,, cause they are quite a bit louder than the video shows when rapped on...http://youtube.com/watch?v=L7UcBqJjf34

ORIGINAL: BOARGAURD As promised for a couple of members earlier, here are the links to the new exhaust on 07 Electra Glide. The first video has the fulsac duals with 69910-99 version SE slipons. The second video has already been posted earlier but has the stock headers with 80490-07 SE slipons. 64910-99 99 SE versions with fulsac duals http://s96.photobucket.com/albums/l196/Boargaurd/?action=view¤t=March1005.flv 07 SE versions with stock headers http://s96.photobucket.com/albums/l196/Boargaurd/?action=view¤t=SEExhaust.flv The 07 SE versions sound louder than I thought they would, kind of nice. Those would be the one piece slip-ons. I wonder if the 08 SE sound the same?

Izzi, great sound. How did you like the bike and sound over all running the bike and at idle. I have the superglide custom and will be putting the power commander or sert and big radius pipes and air cleaner on over the winter. So far they are the pipes i have chose from seeing them on a bike like mine and hearing them they look and sound bad ass. Sound great and sound loud in your vid Do you have the standard baffles that come with the big radius in them??

the bob had the pipes and sert from the dealer and i'm sure they did not dyno it. it had tons of torque but a running roll on throttle seemed a little doggy if the rpms were under about 3200(i'm guessing) overall it was a good set-up off the floor with no tweakage. i always wished i had louder pipes tho. the baffles were standard. the new sideshots are killer.http://www.vanceandhines.com/a102_dyn_sideshots_blk.html

I have Samson II, Rip Saws on my 103", SE Fat Boy. They are basically 1 3/4" drag pipes, with down turn tips, that clamp on the end and full heat shields. They are extremely loud. Samson doesn't make baffles for the II series Rip Saws. I have been experimenting with aftermarket, universal drag pipe baffles, trying to knock a little of the volume down. I settled on Khrome Werks HP drag pipe baffles. Even with baffles my pipes are probably louder then 95% of the Harleys out there. Tom Thumbnail Image

05 Road King Custom with 2" Rush slip ons. Hard to be quiet with these, but I live in the country...no neighbors nearby. I love the way they sound. Ride with the wife several times a week and we have no trouble hearing each other while cruising. http://s215.photobucket.com/albums/cc180/MississippiBagger/?action=view¤t=December2007Harley002.flv
