Anyone know what the stock tank decal looked like on a 1980 Fat Bob?

Thanks but that's not it. No emblem, it was a decal. No holes for screws (or studs, however it was attached).

According to the pictures in the service manual, FLH wore the eagle wing, FXE, FXWG, and FLB wore bar and shield. The image of the FXEF is dark but the shadow appears to be larger and more elongated than the bar and shield.

troglodyte..went to the HD parts catalog for FX models, 1971-1984 (part #99455-83B). The information came from page 181.

All are decals and are the HD bar and shield logo...except for the following

part # 14007-82 "Harley Davidson" (decal as it appears on imbodens reply) used on 1980 FXS-80

part # 61159-80A Bar and Shield Logo, orange and black, used on 1980-1982 FXB

part # 61405-80A Bar and Shield Logo, gold and black, used on 1980 and 1981 FXEF-80, FXWG, FXE-80 AND 1982 FXB

part # 61406-80 Bar and Shield Logo, silver and black, used on 1980 and 1981, all models except fo FXS-80, FXB
