#1 Steelers fan here, but talk about going from the penthouse to the outhouse !!!

I think the injuries to Ward and Palamalu are greater than they are being reported. I think the rest of the receiving corps is weak so no one has/can step it up. I think Ben's accident and then surgery has him rattled. I think that although Willie Parker is a good back, he's not the kind of running back that has been the Steelers M.O. There have been several running backs the like of a Willie Parker over the years and none of them have had the success that the bigger backs have had, Barry Foster, Bam Morris, Jerome and the list goes on. Lastly and most importantly I think the loss of Bettis is a big impact on the leadership side of things. I believe that he brought a calming effect to Ben and the rest of the offense that is no longer presented by any other player.

Well, not sure what will happen from this point on the rest of the season, but the burgh sure looked "super" today, against K.C. !!!
