Howdy football fans!!! My cousin is finally getting his first start for Fresno State, I can't wait to see it on ESPN2 Sat. Unfortunatly they are going up against LSU and only have one win this year. But the point is that my cousin is the starting QB in a college football game, I'm so proud of him.Just wanted to brag!!! Oh yeah by the way his name is Sean Norton #3 if any one wants to check it out ESPN2 @ 6:00pm West coast. Thanks.
Here's a little background on my cousin that I pulled from Fresno's website. Go Bulldogs!!!!!!!
Sean Norton
Class:
Sophomore
Hometown:
Valencia, Calif.
High School:
Hart
Height / Weight:
5-11 / 175
Position:
QB
Fresno State: Recovering from off season surgery ... put up simply staggering numbers in high school ... one of the state's most sought after prep quarterbacks ... with maturation and a grasp of the offense, he could be a quarterback of the future for the Bulldogs. (2005) Squad member ... (2004) Redshirted.
High School: A talented quarterback who led the state of California with 4,067 passing yards and 44 touchdowns as a senior ... his passing total ranked as the 25th-best in U.S. high school history and the fifth-most ever in California high school history ... completed 238-of-363 passes ... named the 2003 CIF Southern Section Division II Offensive Player of the Year, after guiding Hart to the Division II title ... named the Cal-Hi Sports Mr. Football as California's Player of the Year ... a Parade All-American ... guided Hart to a 23-4-1 record over the last two seasons ... as a junior, Hart was 12-1-1 and ranked No. 20 in the nation by USA Today ... named the Los Angeles Daily News Player of the Year and selected to the Los Angeles Times All-Southland team ... was selected the Foothills League Player of the Year in 2002 and 2003 ... over two seasons, he threw for 8,050 yards, completing 66 percent of his passes (498-758) and 79 touchdowns with just 18 interceptions ... threw just one interception every 42 pass attempts in his career ... guided Hart to the 2003 CIF Southern Section Division Championship in a 25-7 win over Mission Viejo ... joins favorite target, Kevin Ciccone, who also signed with Bulldogs ... comes from the same high school that produced NFL first-round pick Kyle Boller.
Personal: Born May 13, 1986 ... parents' names are Christine and Scott Norton ... has one brother, Jacob ... enjoys pool and watching television ... lists his favorite athlete as Baltimore Ravens quarterback Kyle Boller because he is a great QB and, like Norton, he attended Hart HS ... coincidentally, Boller is the brother-in-law of current Bulldog Kevin Ciccone, who also played with Norton at Hart.

LSU is way over rated, your cousin will do fine. I will be cheering for him.

Thanks alot guys! If only he was 6-4 everybody said he'd probably be at USC but none of the bigger schools wanted to take a chance on someone only 5-11. Well anyways win lose or draw he's family and that means there is only one team in this house. GO BULLDOGS!!!!!!!!!
Your cousin did a great job. I was impressed with his play. If he would have had recievers with any talent he would have had a much better night and posted much better numbers.
I did however, cheer each time we sacked him.

Thanks alot, Yeah he just told me that he earned the start against Boise. He has always done good under pressure and I think he did a pretty good job, all things considered. They were just outmatched in every way. But I'm proud of him either way and I think he'll do some great things. Oh and by the way, LSU is the best 6-2 team that I've evre seen. Lol. Thanks again for the kind words.
