Rode a 2006 Fatboy today and noticed that HD put in some kind of cam thingy that very noticably makes clutch lever effort less than my 2005 FB. Anyone know how easy or complicated it is to do this change on a bike a year older?

H-D's part number for the kit to upgrade older bikes ('99-'05 TwinCams) to '06 specs is: 36808-05. It's $44.95 retail and includes "a new clutch spring and inner/outer ramps that significantly reduce clutch lever effort".

There the first ones to sue somebody , but look at the "NEW" things they are coming out with, copies of a tried and true piece, the "NEW" ball ramp for instance

Hell, I don't blame them. They're in business to make money. Now, if they turned their stealerships upside down and got some people in there that understand customer service.....nevermind, it ain't gonna happen.....
