Default waxing motor

I have a 98 glide polished motor no chrome. I been using mequires detail wax on the motor since the bike is new. Never had a problem. when I drive in the rain, dirt and road grime wahes right off. It gives the motor some protection. I spay it on and wipe off. Anybody has tried this?

Default RE: waxing motor

I've been waxing the chrome parts of my engine but I thought that it would just burn off?
