Do you have a winsheild on your Dyna?

Thanks for all the input................. We sure are an emotional bunch. Gosh, all I asked was the above question.
After I see how many literally hate winsheilds, I am almost certain to get one........ Hopefully I'll p!ss somebody off, and gain some comfort in the process.
I love to ride in the winter, but can't take the extreme cold on the chest, anymore.

Yes, have one......Do not use it much....the look of it.....the way the wind hits me......I will use it on long rides sometimes, just incase of rain and/or debris.

Not no

Not heck no

But, F@*k no...

To me it defeats the purpose of riding a motorcycle. If I want the windless feeling I will take the truck.

Just finished a frame-off on a 76' CJ5 and it will NEVER see a top on it, ever!

Have one because long spells at 80+ on the SoCal freeways are a bit much without one. That being said, I have only used it twice for SD to LA rides, I just don't like the look on the bob.

Yes and HELL yes! If riding 80mph in 40-degree temps with a windshield makes me a *****, then MEOW! I didn't buy my bike to be concerned with how other people see me on it. If I rode weekends on local roads only and in consistently warm weather, then maybe. Ride 40 miles each way year round rain or shine and a windshield just makes sense.

No and I think they look hideos on a Bob.I don't mind them on a bagger and I like the little Buell type flyscreens on a street fighter but nothing looks worse on a bike that's supposed to be "stripped down" or "bobbed" than a big sheet of plastic tacked to the front of it.If you're not concerned with how it looks why would you buy a Harley in the first place?

I resisted for many years until my ride out to Sturgis last year. By the third day I had enough fighting the wind so I stopped and picked one up.

I rarely take it off now.

It keeps the bugs and road debris out of my face in the spring and summer.

It keeps me warm in the winter when temps are in the 20's and thirties.

I guess I have just got used to having it on the bike. I have even got used to seeing it on my bike.
