Default Forwards for my 88 FXRS

I want to put forwards on my lowrider and saw #49080-03 at the HD store that were factory
forwards for Dyna's...They bolt to the down tube the same as my scoot but the bolt spacing looks closer,
I can't see spending 600 for Accutronix when HD has them for 299, anyone know if the spacing is the
same, none of my buddies has a Dyna, and out here in the sticks it's 60 miles to HD...I know this is
a stupid question , but what can you expect from a guy named Skidmark...

If I remember right... The Dyna and FXR is a whole different set up when it comes to those holes in the bottom front corners of the 2 bikes. You should be able to buy the Dyna forward controls and fab up a couple of new mounting brackets to get the set to work on your FXR.

A picture of where your mounting holes are would help to refresh my memory of where mine were on my '91 FXRP.

Judging by the picture you sent me I'd have to say the only difference in the hole spacing. I did a google search for "fxr forward controls" and I found 2 kits which are reasonably priced through Steel Thunder <= link. They are about 1/4 way down the page.

These look pretty good, I'd say even better looking than the Kury set for the FXD.
