Personally, I would have whipped his A$$ for laying his hands on me...coach or no coach, brilliant or not brilliant.

The dude is an idiot that cannot control his anger problems...IMHO

I guess I have more self respect.

Damn a basketball career. I have to look at myself in the mirror every morning.

I cant imagine wanting anything so badly that I would compromise my self respect...

But that is just me...

And yes, he is a good coach and brilliant fella, however, he would have ended up with two backwards hands if put his mitts on me like that...

When my wife hits me harder then that when she wants my attention. She calls it a Love Tap. The kid needs to look up when someone is talking to him.

My Drills in Basic couldn't touch me that much, and somehow managed to hold my undivided attention. It's not quite the same I know because my boy is 8, but if that cranky bastard slapped my boy I would knock him on his ass, if my boy didn't. What the hell is he supposed to be teaching that kid? If your wife doesn't look you in the eye when your talking to her just reach out and give her a smack? or maybe a coworker just to make sure you have their attention. We are a little more respectfull of each other in my work but maybe it's because we are all armed most of the time and a little twichy from too many deployments. He's got no F#cking business being on ANY court any more. Clown.

The egomainiac needs to be fired for every incident that he has perpetrated. Personally I would go in the locker room get a broom handle and come back out and cold cock him then walk off the court.
