Now all the "big blue" fans are cryin' that they would've won in Mich.Well guess what we won there last year. They say Mich. should play in the national championship game .Why? didn't they ALREADY lose to OSU once? Why should they get a second chance ahead of a 1 loss USC or Florida?Lets face it .It was a close game but Mich. couldn't beat the Bucks sat. so why give them a second chance eve if (and I do believe they are) they are the SECOND best team in the country.

The BCS was created to make sure the #1 and #2 teams play for the championship. They way the polls are, it looks like that is what we will get.....right or wrong. Of all of the one loss teams I think Michigan is the best.. JMO

You did win there last year, but it was also a MUCH different team last year!
I agree with Carolina, the #1 and #2 teams are the ones that should play in the championship. Besides, I don't think a USC or Florida game would be as interesting a game. Nothing I hate worse than a blowout in a National Championship game (same with Super Bowl for that matter)! USC of last year might give OSU a run, but I don't think they have a strong enough team this year. Florida at their best MIGHT beat OSU. So quite frankly, the best team to have a shot would be Michigan this year.
USC is going to lose to Notre Dame, and Florida is going to lose to Florida State anyways (wishful thinking on the FSU part! But stranger things have happened!), so it'll be a moot point in less than 2 weeks......

Michigan should not have a second chance. They blew their first chance. They should have fell in the polls to about 6th based on past polls when teams lose. Other than Michigan, it does not matter who OSU plays - Usc, ND, Ark, Florida. As long as the two teams have not met already in the regular season.
I wish the NCAA would dump the bowl games, create a play-off and put an end of this stupid BCS controversy.
What about the Hogs???? Yes, the lost the first game of the season, but lets look at their schedule against USC!!!!!!!! No where close........ Im a Vol fan, but wanna give the Hogs a chance!!!!!!!
Truth be told, it really wasn't that close of a game...had OSU not turned the ball over in the 2nd half like they did, the score would have been much more lopsided. OSU simply has too many offensive weapons for Michigan to stop. USC will have the same problem. They only win if OSU turns the ball over.

Coulda shoulda woulda.....what's your point? Half the teams that lose are like that. They had those turnovers on their home field keep in mind, what makes you think they would have less w/o that home field advantage (keep in mind the NC game is being held on a field that has never had a college team play!)
I guess it's a moot point now, unless USC really manages to screw it up and lose to UCLA, they will probably be coming out here for the NC. When you compare the losses though (Mich losing to the #1 team, USC losing to an unranked Oregon State), it's hard to fathom SC rising above Michigan. If they don't completely dominate this weekend vs. UCLA, if it's a close game they should lose their #2 ranking.
Just my opinion, don't tell my sister that! (USC grad!)
