This 1954 Harley-Davidson Bobber is a Real Bandito Bike

Bandito

Outlaw bikers and bike clubs have existed for decades now, and many are still thriving to this day. Despite their differences, many of them also share a lot of similarities – their members have a common disdain for “normal” society and a real passion for riding Harley-Davidson motorcycles.

If you’re interested in this motorcycle sub-culture but don’t want to join a club, there are a number of ex-outlaw bikes out there for sale. In a day and age when a lot of folks are building replicas of these bikes, you can buy a real, dyed in the wool bike like this ex-Bandito owned 1954 Panhead bobber named, “Ginger.”

Bandito

Assembled and titled in 1977, Ginger was purchased by the current owner in 1992 and has been slowly repaired over the last 24 years. All new wiring has been installed and the engine rebuilt. During the rebuild, new valve seats were fitted in the heads to accommodate unleaded gas.

After undergoing knee surgery, the owner is having trouble riding this low, fast, and loud piece of history. If you’re a history buff or just a guy who appreciates some real Harley history, or maybe even bandito, this ’54 is a true work of art that you can buy today – no initiation required.
