2019 Harley Owners Group Annual Rally Set for Northern Michigan

Boyne Mountain area to welcome over 2,000 Harley-Davidson owners per day from July 18 to 20.

“We couldn’t be more thrilled to be chosen as the host community [of the 2019 Harley Owners Group Annual Rally],” Boyne Area Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Ashley Cousens tells local Michigan media UpNorthLive. “This event will not only bring a strong financial impact to our area hotels and businesses, but more importantly it will introduce the Boyne area as a return vacation destination to thousands of people across the country.”

That financial impact coming to Charlevoix County is no chump change either. The three-day H.O.G. event is expected to bring in between $3-$4 million in local spending.

‘The big selling point for the Boyne area is the uncrowded curvy roads, which are perfect for motorcycle rides.’

Set to take place July 18-20 in the Boyne Mountain area, the 2019 Harley Owners Group Annual Rally is expected to draw over 2,000 Harley-Davidson owners per day. The event will showcase the newest Harleys and also include a massive motorcycle parade.

“The big selling point for the Boyne area is the uncrowded curvy roads, which are perfect for motorcycle rides,” H.O.G. regional manager Todd Robinson tells UpNorthLive. “Combined with the beautiful scenery and welcoming people, it’s a perfect setting for a rally. I’m so excited to bring this event back to the area.”
