Leesburg Bikefest

World’s largest three-day motorcycle and music festival welcomes 250,000 people to sunny Florida.

Today marks the beginning of the 21st annual Leesburg Bikefest, and it’s shaping up to be the best one yet. The 2017 Bikefest will feature over 60 concerts, 200 vendors, bike shows, five Hotbody contests, and 250,000 people, all in the lovely warm, sunny Central Florida.

Considering the size of the event, it’s amazing that it’s still free of charge. It’s a uniquely free event,” said Joe Shipes, CEO of the event host the Leesburg Partnership, in an interview with the Daily Commercial. “Many events are having to charge entry fees, and we strive to not do that while offering some top-notch entertainment.”

Now, don’t be fooled by the lack of admission fee, there is some top-dollar entertainment on tap this year. Music headliners include Fuel, Queensryche, and Pure Prairie League. Now, if those aren’t your cup of tea, then there are dozens more artists playing throughout the weekend, including an AC/DC cover band. Non-music events include The Rat’s Hole Custom Bike Show, motorcycle training and classes, and multiple stunt shows.

As usual, along with the actual 2017 Bikefest, there are many other motorcycle events happening around Leesburg this weekend, so go check them out!
