28th Annual European H.O.G. Rally Ready to Rock Portugal

This year, the European H.O.G. Rally returns to beautiful Cascais for the biggest party of the year.

Harley-Davidson might be a distinctly American company, but its scope of influence includes the entirety of this globe we live on. Harley has grown a particularly rabid fan base in Europe, a fact that was on full display at the brand’s 115th anniversary celebration in Prague last year. This year, Euro Harley fans have something equally big and exciting to look forward to – the 28th annual European H.O.G. Rally, taking place in Cascais, Portugal June 13-16.

This year, organizers expect tens of thousands of rumbling bikes to roll into the port town. It’s also the second time this traveling party has come to Cascais, which previously hosted it in 2012. Back then, a whopping 12,000 bikes showed up along with thousands more fans, all numbers which figure to be blown away this time around. After all, the European H.O.G. Rally has grown substantially in the last seven or so years.

There certainly couldn’t be a more perfect setting for a big-time Harley rally. Cascais is a true place of beauty, a coastal town surrounded by rolling hills and stunning countryside. It’s also packed with restaurants and bars, boutique hotels, and cobbled streets that take you from the harbor to the sandy beaches.

During the European H.O.G Rally, those same streets will also be lined with a custom bike show, live music, pop-up bars, demo rides, and much more. A parade around the Estoril Circuit kicks off the festivities. And there are a number of guided tours available for those wanting to explore the beauty of Portugal. Bike rentals are also available for folks that want to fly in and participate.

But above all, the 2019 European H.O.G. Rally promises to be one giant party worth the trip. Even if you have to cross the globe to get there. So round up your buddies and secure a group booking, rent a sweet ride, and book your tour(s). That way, you can witness the Euro Harley phenomenon in all its glory, firsthand!
