Southern Indiana’s 16th annual adults-only event adds community service component for 2018.

Leave the kids at home and prepare to let loose at the 16th Annual Bean Blossom BikerFest, September 4-9 at the Bill Monroe Music Park and Campground in Morgantown, Indiana. Known as “Southern Indiana’s Best Old School Biker Party,” the 21-and-over event certainly lives up to that mighty proclamation.

Live entertainment for this year includes Wrong Side of Dixie on Sept. 5; Gran Torino, Sept. 6; Bionic Monks, King Bee & the Stingers, and Hairbangers Ball, Sept. 7; and Derailed Band, Hole in the Sky, and Mike Milligan and Steam Shovel, Sept. 8.

A full bar (Ridge Runners Juke Joint of Nashville, Indiana) ensures that you’ll have a good time, plus field events, a judged bike show, games, contests, and other activities will make this a festival to remember.

To heat things up, Ms. 2018 Bean Blossom BikerFest Babe, Hailey Bone (right), will be on site at BikerFest to sign posters on Friday and Saturday.

New for 2018, Bean Blossom BikerFest is giving back to the community by asking all attendees to bring a non-perishable canned good (or give a cash donation). On Saturday morning, a “Fun Run Ride” will begin at the BikerFest front gate. The first stop will be Mother’s Cupboard Community Kitchen in Nashville, Indiana, where donations will be dropped off. The ride will then proceed through the rolling hills of Brown County. The “Fun Run Ride” is being organized and led by Bloomfield Memorial Post 196 American Legion Riders. There will also be a “Bikers Breakfast” on Friday and a Blessing of the Bikes on Saturday morning.

Sponsors for this year’s bikefest include Mann’s Harley-Davidson in Edinburgh, Indiana; Indianapolis Southside Harley-Davidson; and Harley-Davidson of Bloomington. On-site camping at the event is available, while all other camping options can be reserved through Bill Monroe Music Park and Campgroundd.
