Harley-Davidson has issued a recall for some Touring and Trike models. The recall applies to bikes from 2009 on up, including 2012 models. Concern centers around the bike’s rear brake light switche, which can fail due to exposure to heat from the exhaust system. The recall applies to over 300,000 machines worldwide.

While this sounds like a big problem for the MoCo, the recall is voluntary, and the company’s stock actually rose three percent after the news broke. I don’t understand the stock market at all…

Of course, members are already talking about the recall over in the Forum. Head over and see what they’re saying!
