Tip of the hat to France’s Lazareth Moto for their craftsmanship on this extreme custom 4-wheel tilting sportbike powered by Maserati’s V8. What a wild work of art! It belongs in a modern art gallery in NYC, Paris or Milan surrounded by similar elite one-of-a-types designs.LM84710-Copier

Before we touch upon the award-winning worthy details of Lazareth’s LM 847 sportbike let it be known France just went through a motorcycle horsepower liberation. So there is rhyme and reason to this bike’s radicality. Over the last three decades France has had a 100 HP or less restriction for motorbikes. This was just abolished. Now we’re finally getting to enjoy the beauty that’s been held back and for riders a new era of speed.

On the tip of everyone’s tongue is the Dodge Tomahawk which shares looks with this big dog. The LM 847 evolves this look yet slims it down making it more manageable to actually ride using a smaller Maserati 4.7-liter V8 engine instead of a Viper V10.

Pushing out over 400 BHP through an in-house built ingenious single-speed automatic transmission it looks like the clever titling handling system can apply enough grip to hook up hard to scoot. Features like the hub steering system, four single-sided swingarms with TFT transverse-mounted dampers and ring-mounted brakes look actually well-suited for daily use.

When it gets down to geometry of the bikes contact points; handles, seat, pegs, it looks way more rideable than the Dodge. Lower ride height, less aggressive sportbike seating position and even the flat bars look configured for easy use around town. France has a natural ability to build thoughtful ergonomics into everything and this is a perfect representation.
