Custom Green Harley-Davidson Softail Would be Home in Oz

Emerald HD Custom (3)

If the Wizard of Oz ever owned a custom Softail, this would be it. Rick Ortega has taken his 2006 Harley-Davidson and created an emerald work of art. We found this bike over at Low Rider Magazine, and it deserves ever click they get.

With candy apple green metallic paint, custom pinstriping, shaved and molded fenders, custom matching green leatherwork, more chrome than a pimped Escalade, and those epic 36-inch fishtail exhaust this bike is everything that a lowrider should be.

There is even billet runners, shifters and grips, as well as a Platinum Air-Ride suspension setup and 18-inch ape hangers.

With basically no expense paid for the style, this bike is easily one of the nicest custom rides I’ve seen in a while. In fact, the only thing I would change is the wheel choice.

Rick went with a 21-inch up front and 16-inch out back, both heavily spoked. I would have brought the wheels a little closer together in size, maybe an 18 and a 20, dumped the high spoke count and I would have made the rear tire a little wider. Otherwise this thing is pretty close to perfect.

Take a look at this bad ass creation in our gallery below. Think of it as a nice mid-week pick-me-up.
