Harley 'Crossbow' Takes Aim at Zombie Apocalypse

Fend off the walking dead with L.A. Harley of Anaheim’s custom bike.

When Harley-Davidson recently challenged U.S. dealerships to build a scrambler bike from their 2015 Street 500/750 for a competition called “HD Custom Kings,” Los Angeles Harley-Davidson of Anaheim hit the mark with what is probably one of the best modified Harleys we’ve seen in a long time, “The Crossbow.” Inspired by equal parts Mad Max  and The Walking Dead, the Fullerton, California-based shop’s “Crossbow” model includes, well, a mounted crossbow in case any mutant zombies try to chase after you. Cool, eh?

The badass bike comes equipped with a Screaming Eagle Buckshot Exhaust Shield and shortened muffler, yards of super-strong cord to tie up any loose zombies or roving desert-stalking troublemakers, and an H-D distressed-leather single-sided bag to hold extra mutant ammunition–or a roast beast sandwich.

L.A. Harley-Davidson of Anaheim kept in mind the safety & social graces of its customers by thoughtfully including anti-zombie warning labels on ‘The Crossbow’!

And if you need to ride long and hard across the wasteland, you’ll be glad your bike has Ride Wright 19-inch front and 18-inch rear wheels and a fuel cell by Biltwell, so you can leave those zombies in the dust.

Plus, when creating their incredible “Crossbow,” Los Angeles Harley-Davidson of Anaheim apparently kept in mind the safety and social graces of its customers by thoughtfully including anti-zombie warning labels on the bike!
