Donate Blood, Win this Sweet Harley
United Blood Services using custom Fat Boy giveaway to help refill blood banks.
If you happen to live in Wyoming, you’ve got a chance to win this sweet Fat Boy and help an important cause at the same time. That’s because United Blood Services is giving the Harley-Davidson away to one lucky blood donor. All you have to do is drop by the UBS donor center in Cheyenne or Casper and donate blood in May or June.
One lucky winner will be chosen during a live Facebook event on July 12. And even if you aren’t lucky enough to score the Fat Boy, four other winners will nab a $100 gas card. You must be 18 or older for those prizes, but 16-17 year olds can win an iPad Mini 4 for their donations. Twenty of the tablets will be given away in May, with another 20 awarded in June.
The contest aims to encourage people to head to blood banks at a time when donations tend to taper off. With school winding down and summer vacation season in full swing, donations become more scarce. The need for blood doesn’t decrease in the summer, however. So even if you aren’t lucky enough to live in Wyoming, consider donating blood in your town this summer. Chances are, it will save someone’s life!
