Foo-kin' Cool! Harley & Foo Fighters Team Up on Limited-edition T-shirts

Limited-edition line of co-branded shirts & caps being sold exclusively at Harley dealerships around the world.

Harley-Davidson has announced a limited-edition line of Harley-Davidson/Foo Fighters apparel, a co-branded line-up being sold exclusively at Harley dealerships around the world. Available for a limited time, the unique collection features printed T-shirts, sweatshirts and baseball caps featuring the superstar band along with the iconic H-D logo, and prices start at $30.

The release of the Foo Fighter/Harley-Davidson apparel follows Cal Jam 2018 in San Bernardino, California, on Oct. 6, a popular music festival that  Harley-Davidson helped sponsor. The Foo Fighters were the headline act of the music fest, and co-branded T-shirts were sold on-site at Cal Jam by the Glendale Harley-Davidson and Loma Linda’s Quaid Harley-Davidson dealerships.

Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl is also a longtime Harley-Davidson rider and hardcore enthusiast who has been spotted numerous times at Los Angeles area H-D dealerships. The former Nirvana drummer also once had a motorcycle-themed throne made so he could continue to tour with the Foo Fighters after suffering a broken leg.

“Partnering with the Foo Fighters and Cal Jam is a great example of our broader access strategy,” says Jodi Budda, general merchandise marketing manager for Harley-Davidson. “By being a major part of Cal Jam, Harley-Davidson raised awareness for our brand among thousands of people, meeting them on their turf where they are comfortable and open to checking out our brand.”

As an event sponsor, Harley- also collaborated with the Foos to support a Cal Jam ‘18 tank design contest, which included a grand prize of a a model year 2019 Harley-Davidson motorcycle, which went to Shane Deaver of Escondido, California.

“I would like to dedicate this piece to my family and friends, especially my mother, who only being lovingly concerned for her son’s safety, secretly hoped I didn’t have a chance in the competition,’ said Deaver after the win.
