Harley Rides Home

Bikers from around the U.S. will hit the road headed to Milwaukee for the summer’s biggest and baddest party.

To celebrate its 115th anniversary, Harley-Davidson is throwing one wild party, and everyone is invited. It will start with an epic ride in August named “Rides Home.” The ride will be starting in four cities: San Diego, Seattle, Portland and Fort Lauderdale, and the destination is Harley-Davidson’s home in Milwaukee. Each of the four routes offers something different and something tailored for the region. Riders are invited to join the pack along the way. Each route has several stops where you can easily meet up and join in the epic ride.

If you are heading out from San Diego, this Southwestern route promises breathtaking vistas of the desert, as well as a mix of both rural and urban locales. The ride also goes through Texas, Oklahoma, and a few days in Kansas City, in case you want to get your BBQ on.

The Seattle ride offers the best of the Pacific Northwest. Soak up some altitude along the way, tackling some gorgeous mountain roads. Stops are planned at historic locales Mt. Rushmore and Crazy Horse. There will be an overnight in the mountains at Beartooth Lodge, Montana, and the route will also meet the raging waters in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
