Harley Couple Share Their Adventures Across North America
H-D motorcycles & road trips go together like peanut butter & jelly, at least for this highway-happy duo.
One of the best things about the Harley community, at least in our minds, is the fact that we ride the heck out of our bikes. This isn’t true with many hobbies involving vehicles, of course. Many purchase secondary rides and simply show them off, rarely enjoying them on our nation’s many miles of incredible roads. But that certainly isn’t the case with Harley-Davidson Forums member(s) Scorpio09SG. And the Harley riding couple are more than happy to share their adventures with us right here in the forums.
It all started about a year-and-a-half ago, when the pair began posting pictures and stories of their weekly rides.
“We are the “Scorpios” (Terry & Suzie) and will begin a series of blogs and ride photos of our adventures throughout Ontario and nearby Michigan in the USA. Usually we ride every Wednesday evening (weather permitting) with our group of friends. We are happy to share our adventures and hope you will all enjoy the photos.”
At first, the trips consist of some beautiful Canadian scenery. And then, Mr. Scorpio and his pals cross over to the U.S. via ferry.
“Today was a guy’s riding day as some of the women are away and Mrs. Scorpio had a baby shower for a friend’s daughter. We decided on a venture south from Sarnia down St. Clair Parkway on the St. Clair river and through Sombra, Ontario to the USA. We started out in Sarnia with 3 riders and picked up 2 more at Sombra.”
True to the OP’s promise, the Harley riding couple took a gorgeous ride virtually each week of the summer in 2017. Until the inevitable Canadian snow moved in, of course. They picked up their many adventures just as soon as the ground thawed out, and hit many interesting spots during 2018.
So far, we’ve rather enjoyed keeping up with the Scorpios and their many Harley adventures. And we’re certainly looking forward to what 2019 brings. In the meantime, be sure and head over here and check them out yourself. Who knows, it might even motivate you to take some trips this coming year!
