X Games

The X Games events have something for everyone. I’m personally a fan of the motorsports. Watching Rallycross is a heck of a lot of fun. Now I’ll have another form of motorsports to look forward to in 2015. Harley-Davidson Flat Track Racing.

Starting at the X Games in Austin, Texas, you’ll be able to see flat track racing competitively. Last year, X Games coordinators and HD had two exhibition events to gauge fan interest. The response was overwhelming, so they worked to get it added to the full time schedule.

Sometimes, the fans and enthusiasts really do get what they want.

The inaugural race will be held at the world-famous Circuit of the Americas (COTA) and follow the invitational format. The Harley XR 750 motorcycle will be competing in this event, and the lucky winner of the gold medal will received the street version of the 750 as his or her prize.

X Games is about performance, and flat-track racing is the perfect addition to this competition, allowing athletes from around the world to showcase just how they push the boundaries in their sport,” said factory team rider Brad Baker.

The event is scheduled to be televised on ESPN on June 4th, 2015 at 9 PM Eastern.
