Harley auction

Australian Harley collector auctions off some of his extensive and rare items to downsize, and make way for next generation.

Tony Blain is a man looking forward to a new chapter in his life. Blain has decided to close his store, Redfern Motor Parts in Corrimal, Australia, and move to a smaller place in Sydney. He’s spent many years putting together a formidable collection of Harley-Davidson bikes, parts, and collectors items. As he hasn’t got the space to take it all with him, he will be auctioning over 1,300 lots from his shop. The auction will take place May 3 to 5 online at Manshed Auctions.

“I don’t know you can keep everything forever,” Blain told The Illwarra Mercury. “As we close this store we open up the doors for others around the world.

His business has been operating out of its current location for 19 years, but his collection has been a lifetime in the making. In addition to Harleys, there will motorcycle parts, memorabilia, accessories, signs, and more for sale.

To be clear, Blain is simply paring down his collection. He’s certainly not getting out of the game. He’s a true blue biker that will always be working on and riding a Harley.

“I’ve always had motorcycle oil in the veins,” he says. “And I don’t think you ever get rid of it if you’re into bikes.”

While Blain is partial to classic bikes, the auction offers all kinds of cool, rare, and collectible items.

This is definitely a cool auction with some rare, unusual, and affordable pieces on the block. You can bid online May 3 to 5 at the Manshed Auctions website.
