Harley Dealerships Top Customer Service Survey
Harley-Davidson is a lot more involved with their customers than other brands (motorcycles or otherwise) tend to be. I guess it shouldn’t be surprising that they top the list of dealership effectiveness according to the 2012 Pied Piper prospect satisfaction survey. That’s not quite the same as customer satisfaction mind you, but it’s a measure of how nice their dealerships are.
BMW and Ducati tie for second place, while Victory, Indian and Triumph finish in a three-way tie for fourth. While Harley bested their competition in this case, the whole dealership industry is up over last year. In reality this is good news for all parties, because people are more likely to buy motorcycles when the local dealership isn’t a hell hole.
That’s not to say that all Harley dealerships are paragons of virtue and grace. But, when compared to their competition, Harley is the cream of the crop.
