Getting new tires is a perfect reason to let the old ones burn out in a blaze of burnout glory.

Doing a burnout is such a satisfying and awesome thrill, but let’s be realistic: Tires cost money. We love to light it up, but most of us don’t really have the budget to replace our tires whenever the need for speed (and tire smokin’) hits us. Which is probably why we really enjoyed this video so much; all the action, none of the cost!

Instagram user Tyler Phillips, who goes by the handle Cheer The Clutch Up, posted that he was getting new tires, so there was only one thing to do…burnout, baby. Phillips’ 2009 Harley-Davidson Nightster 1200 is definitely down for this challenge. It’s a lot of rip roaring, tire decimating fun!

And the aftermath? We love it.
