Instagram’s ‘Sexiest Motorcylist’ Dies in High-Speed Accident
Stunt-riding Russian model died at age 40 doing what she loved.
Russian beauty Olga Pronina was just an ordinary hair dresser who liked to ride motorcycles. That was until she found fame and fortune as a stunt-riding model via Instagram. Her account, Monica9422, was shut down shortly after her death (more on that in a moment) but had about 200,000 followers. Why was her account shut down? Because, as difficult as it is to fathom, it became a huge magnet of hate, slut shaming, and victim blaming, as soon as news broke of her death.
She was killed on a freeway near the Russian city of Vladivostok. Details are slim, but reports claim that she lost control while traveling at a high rate of speed and slid into a guard rail. It appears her BMW S1000R was torn into several pieces and scattered the length of two football fields, and possibly sending her into oncoming traffic. The violence of the accident scene most likely means anyone, no matter what they were wearing, would have been killed, and she appears to have been wearing proper gear.

and deserves a place in the brotherhood of bikers.
She was a model, so there are many pictures and videos of her wearing little in the way of gear — or clothing — while posing or riding. She was also a stunter, showing amazing bike control, balance, and poise in her videos. Why should her family and friends have to suffer doubly with all the Internet’s scorn for her because of what she wore and how she rode in her videos? Anyone who rides could tell she was a very good rider, and she owned proper gear, which she often wore.
Olga lived doing what she loved, and she did not seem to care if people thought badly of her for it. The news may be calling her the “Sexiest Motorcyclist,” but she sure looks like a biker to us. The above photo is a perfect example. Her shirt reads “Always say never: Never back down, never back up, and never back off.” Though it is a fairly provocative picture and suggests she is riding her bike around half-naked, an earlier shot shows she had on leather pants, and took them off for the shot.
Olga Pronina, or Monica9422, may not have ridden a Harley-Davidson but she certainly got it and deserves a place in the brotherhood of bikers.
