Isle of Man TT-Inspired Wristwatches Won't Crash Your Wallet

Looking for a quality timepiece? This motorcycle-inspired design from Wryst won’t steer you wrong.

Let’s talk about your watch. Harley-Davidson offers a staggering away of clothing and lifestyle accessories, from wallets to underwear. But you can’t wear Harley stuff all the time. On top of that, mechanically-minded folks like ourselves typically have an affinity for nice timepieces.

With that said, a lot of high-end watches can cost thousands of dollars. They’re nice to look at and admire, but less practical for everyday use. Enter Wryst Timepieces. They’re finely-crafted Swiss watches that look cool without being ostentatious, and they’re available for well under a grand.

Even better, the ones we’re looking at today take a ton of inspiration from motorcycle racing. This series of watches, called the Isle of Man TT, are sports watches designed to evoke the race of the same name. It’s the toughest, most grueling motorcycle race in the world, and the watch is designed to be similarly tough.

It’s got a strong, scratch-resistant finish that won’t let you down when you’re working on your bike before a night on the town, and it’s water resistant up to 100 meters. The stainless steel case is just as tough as you are, and the synthetic watch band should last for years. There’s also several finishes available, in varying combinations of red, yellow, and black that will match your bike or your outfit – if you’re into that sort of thing.

The purposeful, chronograph display resembles a motorcycle gauge cluster, and there are several small, tasteful Isle of Man TT logos on the face and band. While Harleys typically don’t compete at the race, I think we can all agree that we’d gladly buy a round for anyone tough enough to do a lap on that legendarily dangerous circuit. This watch is close enough to the action for the rest of us.
