HD MR 1

So what do you do when you’re living in Sacramento, retired, and a die-hard Harley-Davidson fan? Well, the answer to that seemed to be quite simple for HDForums member 0ldhippie, and it involved picking up 2009 Electra Glide standard and making it into all it could be.

We think that this was a wonderful goal for him to put forth, and he has done an absolutely excellent job fulfilling it. What better way to retire than that?

As we mentioned earlier, this ride is definitely not stock. In fact, if we tried to tell you everything that has been done to modify and improve upon this ride then we would need several articles to do it!

As it sits now, this ride has Hillside A heads, Screamin’ Eagle adjustable push rods, S&S roller rockers, black ceramic-coated heat shields, a Power Commander V, Screamin’ Eagle clutch springs, a Screamin’ Eagle compensator, a Clark 14″ flat top windscreen, a Custom Dynamic taillight, and much more! In the future 0ldhippie hopes to add a Corbin solo seat and maybe switch to a Road Glide fairing. Beyond that, this ride is complete!

This beautiful Electra Glade doesn’t just look nice, however. The beast also puts out 99 horsepower and 109 lb/ft of torque. Go stop by 0ldhippie’s garage and leave some comments, browse the photography, and have a good time! Be sure to keep your garage up to date and maybe you’ll be featured next week!
