NBC Sports Network Announces American Flat Track TV Schedule

Dirt track motorcycle racing finally available via your local cable provider.

The 2017 season of American Flat Track (formerly AMA Pro Flat Track) kicked off months ago. If you missed it, the opening Daytona TT was a unique and new event, on a purpose build course featuring several right turns and even a jump in the middle of it. You can watch all the races streaming live via FansChoice.tv, but now you can watch a better quality broadcast via NBCSN on your local cable provider. Every Monday at 10 or 11pm eastern time (depending on other programming) they will present a 1 hour edited program, featuring all the excitement with none of the buffering or waiting of internet streaming. Jason Weigandt will handle the play-by-play coverage, with former racer Larry Pengram assisting, while Heather DeBeaux rounds out the team in the pits.

Harley has been having some teething issues with the all new Street 750 based XG750R against the Indian Scout based machine, but the racing has still been close. With the rekindling of the old Harley vs Indian war, plus the addition of Yamaha, Kawasaki, Triumph, and Ducati mounted riders trying to break through, this has been one of the best seasons so far since the glory days of the 1950s. You can catch the Dixie Speedway short track race on Monday July 10th at 11pm eastern, 8pm pacific. Here’s a cool clip of one of the qualifying heat races from the Daytona TT in March.
