Spy Shot of Harley’s New Small Cruiser

This shot was taken in India, where they’re going to be building the thing. Unfortunately it’s covered up in black cladding so we have no real idea of what it actually looks like. From this picture it does look like it has a V-Twin. The exhaust piping looks like it splits into two, but it’s hard to tell because that guy’s leg is in the way.

Autocar India says the new HD will actually be 750ccs and watercooled. Given the bikes size, that sounds appropriate. Truthfully though, I’m sure that people aren’t going to mind so much as long as it sounds like hell when you give it the gas. Some thing go beyond borders.

Harley’s building it in India to keep prices low for their market. While they haven’t come out and said they’re bringing it over to the states, I’d say they definitely have a case. Yeah, it might get called a “chick bike,” but if you’re worried about what people will call you when you get one, you should probably man up anyway. The truth is there are people who like the idea of a small, nimble, and most importantly, inexpensive V-Twin. This could be that bike.
