World-renowned artist churns out world-class custom paint work from the friendly confines of a local Harley dealer.

Usually, if you want a high-quality custom paint job on your Harley, you take it to a specialist. If you’re lucky, that master artist resides somewhere near your place of residence. But often, folks have to ship parts or entire bikes long distances to get this quality of work done. If you’re lucky enough to live near Bedford, Texas, however, you can get magazine centerfold quality custom paint done right at Texas Harley-Davidson.

That’s because the fifth largest H-D dealer in the U.S. employs the services of Chris Frasher and his company, CF Designs Paint. Frasher is a true rags to riches story, having started out painting motorcycle helmets for his buddies after high school. It didn’t take long for people to start noticing his work, however. Before he knew it, Frasher was doing work for a couple of local motorcycle shops before landing the gig at Texas H-D.

The now veteran artist completes custom paint jobs for both old and new bikes, helmets, and pretty much anything that can be painted. He even painted a trailer to match a custom Harley CVO recently, which he described as a challenge. “We had to fade all of those colors and try to make it match,” Frasher told The Daily Ardmoreite. “That’s the hardest thing — getting the right color.”

Frasher’s work on both cars and motorcycles has garnered him multiple magazine covers, features, and national prominence. Not bad for a guy who started out as nothing more than an eager high school graduate. And for customers of Texas Harley, his presence is a rare opportunity to obtain world-class custom paintwork right off the dealer floor!
