Custom 2017 Pro Street Softail Brings the Heat

Harley-Davidson Pro Street Softail

Red-hot Harley-Davidson motorcycle proves that wild & powerful bikes are due for a comeback.

You just don’t see a whole lot of Pro Street motorcycles around these days, which is a real shame, because these wild, heavily customized bikes are works of art that carry a huge “Wow!” factor. When you see a Pro Streeter, you just can’t help but notice. Whether the bike features attention grabbing paint and detailing or just a massive rear tire and screaming engine. And sometimes, as is the case with this 2017 Pro Street Softail, they come with all of the above.

We spotted this awesome green ride on eBay, where it was recently up for grabs. And at a relatively low price of $34,900 — less than half of the claimed $75,000 the owner invested to make it one of the baddest rides on the street. It all starts with that hand made custom fiberglass body, a real showstopper with its custom green paint and black marble detailing.

The all-aluminum frame is custom as well, with no down tubes and a gas tank built into it. The front end comes from Mean Street, and the rider sits on a nicely done custom seat. The tiny/massive rolling stock that defines Pro Street style consists of 18″ wheels with a massive 300mm tire out back.

And that huge rear tire isn’t just for show. With power coming from a 127 in Elbruto Ultima motor, there’s enough oomph here to easily break it loose. Behind the engine sits a 6-speed tranny. Both the transmission and belt drive are on the right side.

This mean green Softail is a perfect example of why we need Pro Street Harleys to make a comeback. We just can’t get enough of their in-your-face styling and pavement shredding power, and we doubt you will either.
