XL Series Sportster-Powered Kuzuri Is Custom Built to Thrill

Thrive’s latest chopper is the perfect fusion of brains and brawn.

Thrive Motorcycle of Jakarta, Indonesia, is the new kid on the block in custom builds fused with innovation, style, and some serious power. Their latest offering is the Kuzuri, a custom Sportster that the marries the iconic, hardcore Harley engine with groundbreaking, state-of-the-art design.

The Kazuri, Japanese for “wolverine”, lives up to its namesake with ferocity, thanks to American steel. The inspiration came about two years ago when the guys at Thrive set about to design a custom build using a 2000 Harley XL1200 Sportster engine. Thrive used their custom parts division, T/H/R/V, to add and customize new parts for the V-twin engine.

Next came the frame, designed by fellow Indonesia-based Brondonolo Custom Garage. They continued to tinker and alter in-house, using ingenuity to perfect all the devilish details.

The passion for perfection shows. This bike is unlike anything we’ve seen before, with a nod to the retro Harley style of the past and a keen eye focused on the technology of the future. The Kuzuri is a unique, stylish, powerhouse of a ride and delivers the best in leading-edge aesthetics and technology.
