Waco Biker Shootout Leaves 9 People Dead
Yesterday, the city of Waco, Texas were dealt a huge blow. Not only because of the loss of life, but because of the continued stigma that Waco receives. For those that aren’t aware of what transpired, here’s what went down.
Yesterday, at a local Twin Peaks restaurant and bar, two rival biker gangs went from enjoying beers and wings, to killing each other. Literally.
The two local motorcycle gangs apparently first started throwing punches, which turned into knives, which led to an all out gun battle in the parking lot and through the restaurant. It literally turned into a war zone for those patrons and employees that were caught in the middle.
Nine people died, 18 injured, and over 170 people were arrested after police finally got the scene under control.
Today, Twin Peaks decided to close the restaurant for good in Waco, as well as help out those affected by this devastating tragedy.
It’s sad to see people that should be motorcycling comrades turn so violent for no apparent reason other than the patches you wear.
