Crazy Clip o’ the Week: Harley Wheelie Turns Into a Wrongie!
Rider wrecks beautiful bike but walks away thanks to ninja-like moves.
The majority of motorcycle riders can attest to the difficulty of stunting. And, dangerous special tricks on two wheels is something most of us believe is mostly for sport-bike riders. However, there are some brave Harley-Davidson riders out there that enjoy doing stunts no matter what. This rider, though, happened to take a wheelie just a little too far, as The Drive points out.
The rider managed to get the Harley’s front wheel pretty high up in the air, which is a victory in itself, but he inadvertently took it to the point where the rear fender scraped the ground. The biker obviously got a little startled and stomped on the brakes, which was clearly not the proper choice, as the inertia of the motorcycle created a pendulum effect, bringing the bike’s front wheel screaming down to the ground. Luckily, thanks to his ninja-like moves, the rider managed to land on his feet after getting bucked off the motorcycle.
While that’s the good news, the bad news is that the motorcycle did get damaged. Some of the bodywork fell off and it looks like the gas tank leaked some fuel onto the ground. All in all, things could’ve been a lot worse. Heck, if he was on a Honda or anything other than a Harley, he may have been singing a different tune (if he was able to sing at all after a wheelie wreck like this one!).
