Custom Touring bike and matching sidecar honors U.S. heroes with amazing custom artwork.

It’s no secret that us Harley folks appreciate those that have spent any sort of time fighting to protect our freedom. Even those that have never served can appreciate the sacrifices our veterans have made. That much is clear at any H-D event, rally, or run. But what you see here might be the ultimate Harley-Davidson veteran rolling tribute – a 2001 Touring sporting some truly amazing artwork.

We spotted the patriotic ride on eBay, where it was recently up for grabs. The bike itself sports some pretty amazing red, white, and blue artwork combined with miles of chrome. The paint looks almost three dimensional, to the point where you want to stand at attention and salute when the bike rolls by.

But perhaps the real piece de resistance is that sidecar attached to it. It’s a real H-D piece that has had the rubber bumper removed. The interior is custom stitched in red, white, and blue vinyl. The seat and carpet are black, with red piping to match the motorcycle seat.

It’s all capped off with an amazing paint job that mimics the nose art of the infamous “Memphis Belle” B-17. The rest of the sidecar is flanked with the names of some of the more notable battles in history.

The bike itself shows only 5400 miles on the odometer and has obviously been well cared for. And now, after making numerous appearances around the show circuit, it’s ready for a new home. We can’t imagine a better way to spark up conversation anywhere you go. Or pay tribute to those who deserve it, every single day.
