What’s the Rarest/Coolest/Oldest Bike You’ve Ever Seen on the Street?

Back in 2011, I was in San Francisco for New Years Eve. And while I was walking down Haight Street getting party supplies, I happened to see a Vincent Black Shadow parked along the curb.

I’d never seen one of the British masterpieces in the wild before, and I kind of freaked out. Now over the years I’ve seen plenty of four-wheeled “unicorns”—a Toyota 2000 GT in Tokyo, a Vector W8 in Los Angeles, a Jaguar XJ 220 in Seattle—parked just like they were regular cars, but that museum-quality Vincent was the rarest bike I’ve ever seen on the street.

User dubbl_bubbl over on Reddit/r/harley posted this shot of a 1933 VLD Flathead Springer Bobber at his work earlier this morning, and it made me wonder about stuff that my fellow HDF members had seen randomly. So how about it? What’s the rarest/coolest/oldest bike you’ve seen on the street?
