That's something I actually like about mine is that it is very clear even in the recurve part, no distortion at all. So far so good on any scratches, I have cleaned it often, nothing yet.

I'm looking at getting a Hammock or similar and I'm already getting too much buffeting on top of my helmet with the stock seat / windscreen.

I have the heated hammock on my 14 Limited. I'm 6' and a 34" inseam. The 11" is perfect for me. I followed the instructions on the LRS website to determine what height I needed.

Had one of theirs on my 07 and liked it. Leaving stock on my 14.

Yea that's probably what I should have done..HaHa. I am 6-2, 34 inseam and I'm not sure how I decided on the 10" but it probably wasn't following the site directions :icon_bricks: I would follow the site this time but make sure you have the Hammock already on the bike.

I have a 10" Ultra Dark tint and an 8" Ultra Elite in dark tint...

Love them both. The 10" may be more suited to what your needs are, and is the same height as stock. It works like a taller shield due to the re-curve.

I have the 11" on my Limited, pretty much eliminated buffeting up to 90mph (haven't had it any faster.... Yet), really like it. I may buy the 10", due to slouching that occurs during long rides. Over the course of several hours, I end up looking thru the top edge of the shield.

Thanks guys. I was out for a ride tonight and happened to look out at the valley off to my right and my helmet started vibrating like crazy... I really want to try a new shield. :icon_mrgreen:

I have a 14 inch recurve from LRS. I love it. Little to no buffeting. I have a 20 inch recurve on my 07 Heritage. I could use a 22 inch one but LRS does not make one that tall. That shield has cut the buffeting a bunch.

LRS makes a really good product that is very affordable.
