Best "good looking" but functional windscreen for the new bikes?
Hey guys been hitting the streets with my new 14' FLHX and on the freeway despite the buffering vent I still get it a little. Once my seat lowers me down it might go down some but I was interested in trying a different wind screen, one that actually helps divert the air over my head but I don't want a really tall screen. I am 5'10. Any suggestions maybe clock work or the HD wind splitter and if so what size would be the best like 6.5"? I think the standard screen now is like 4"?
Thanks guys appreciate the input! |

I really like my LRS...
So much I bought 2. a 10" Ultra and 8" Ultra Elite, both dark. Here's a pic of the 8" http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...ps12b5c66d.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...ps13ff17ce.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...ps27afdf7c.jpg |
I am right with you Safety Man
I love my Long Ride Shields!! |
I installed a 12" windsplitter on my '15 RGC and love it. It is 4" taller than stock and it is about level with my mouth. Looks great and works!

"good looking" is subjective, here is a 10" Windsplitter light smoke windshield (H-D 57400206). I'm pretty happy with it. I'm 5'11'' and it rolls the air over my visor & helmet.
