I've seen late built 2014's along with the 2015's with Q2 2014 maps. But doesn't look like naviextras offers them for sale yet.

All,
Thank you for the help! I figured out how to do it. I had to go into setup/system information/database and then insert the USB drive. The head unit then authenticates and then installs the update. And, yes to those who have asked about the cost, it's $149. |

I have a 9/15 CVO and it is 2Q2013 maps. I looked at your picture and the database for the maps date is North America 2013 Quarter 2 "NA2013 Q2" which is what everyone else here with a NA bike has.

Something isn't right. The older 2014's have this map info.

IMO you don't need to update as there is not much difference in the latest map release. Unless you live in very remote locales your original release usually has planned routes already designed in the maps. I update after about 3-4 years. I live in the dallas area and never had a problem. Others from other locales may jime in to dispute or concur.

I would agree as that's an older map version. I thought that they all had 2013Q2, but guess not. You can download the 2013Q2 update.

Since you have a 2015, you should have the 2014 Q2 maps, right? If not, I would ask the dealer about getting it installed.

The last 4 of the top line say 2013 then next line q2. This is q2 2013 map. Mine is q2 2012. Mike

I have yet to update or upgrade my maps. Correct me if i am wrong but the 2014 boombox has the Canadian maps on them, dont they? Headed to BC in the fall and would like to depend on it, well sort of depend on it.
