Infotainment hand control functions
 

After updating to the latest software version I noticed the hand control audio functions do not seem to be working like before. According to the boom box manual (2014) page 26, the left hand joystick, when pushed forward, should advance to the next file while playing files from the media ( sub stick). When I am playing music from the usb stick, and push the joystick forward, the system switches to the radio. Has anyone else noticed this, or am I mistaken. Thanks for any input.

Check your settings see if you have classic mode enabled, that will mess you up.

Thanks, I checked but classic mode was not enabled.

While not a direct answer, i also have 2014 and HD sent me a manual for 2015 which has about twice the information in it. It helped me a great deal and may help you also.

Make sure you are not pushing the left joystick in when pushing it right. If I remember correctly pushing it in changes the audio source.

That switch can be Configured to tune,seek or preset. See page 68-69. As prestated download the 2015 radio manual. HD would not send me one. Hope the link works, John

It was how the preset was set. Thanks for all of the help
