Helmet mounts make me sick to my stomach if they are longer than a few seconds.
In this video, I used 8 different "mounts"... |
Safetyman, cool ass video!
What mount are you using in the frontal shots where just part of the front fender is visible? |
Don't forget the Chest Mount. My most stable motorcycle GoPro videos use the chest mount...

I originally used the GoPro Handle Bar Mount. My goal was to attach it to the engine crash bar. It worked but, it seemed too small so, I replaced it with the Roll Bar Mount. Unfortunately, it records the engine shake and road imperfections. Until you see a post for a really good mount, the Roll Bar mount is most likely the least costly.

It's all in where you mount it.
Engine guard is way shakey, as are the handlebars. |
I mount mine on the handlebar with a Ram Mount. Very little vibration. But I ride a twinkie so that may account for the lack of vibration. My Hero 2 has the LCD screen and I use a skeleton case so that I can run a power wire to the camera. No worries about battery life.

Thanks guys! Many options!
I ordered a Hog Tag Collar mount yesterday afternoon. Will see how it works when it gets here.... |
I use the roll bar mount attachment and mount that on the handlebar Risers and try to get it right out over the headlight behind the screen.
