Can't fast forward using USB drive

For some reason I am not able to FF or RR through tracks while using a USB stick. It works on my iPhone so just wondering if there is a setting I missed?

I have the same problem. Works fine using my iphone w/ bluetooth but when I connect it to charge the phone I can not skip of replay songs.

I got help here when I needed it.
Think I had to change my settings to seek. I also use random for songs.
Left toggle controls forward and back.

Works for me, but it does seem to be a bit difficult to access at times.

Go into media menu and change PRESET to SEEK.

I will give it a shot. I am sure it is settings related.
